Non-Reproductive Ultrasonography in Farm Animals (Ireland – 30/05/25)

Ultrasound Course 2025

Learning has always been at the heart of IMV imaging. For three decades we have been running practical ‘hands-on’ ultrasound training courses and we are now delighted to also able to offer endoscopy courses. We are committed to ensuring you can make the most of your endoscopy equipment.

Non-Reproductive Ultrasonography in Farm Animals (Ireland – 30/05/25)

About this course: There are many other applications of the practical use of ultrasonography in farm animals which can be of huge benefit when diagnosing pathology but also assessing response to treatment and its application is often overlooked. Ultrasound examination of any organ system takes only a few minutes and is an invaluable diagnostic technique. The course will cover the theory of various non reproductive body systems in cattle and cover thoracic scanning in sheep. The practical component will cover cattle cases only. This intensive one day course will help you learn to identify common pathologies in the chest and abdomen and gain a deeper understanding of ultrasound’s role in the general overall assessment of respiratory, gastrointestinal, hepatic and reproductive health.
