Senior Marketing Manager (12 month temporary contract)

Head Office, Bellshill, Scotland plus Hybrid Working (2 days a week in the office)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the clinical team under guidance of the clinical manager to produce clinical materials
  • Manage the Companion Animal marketing team and budget to deliver consistent, high-quality materials and communications.
  • Lead and support the marketing team to accomplish the set marketing plan and strategy and deliver on objectives
  • Leading and coordinating marketing projects from beginning  to end. Getting involved with the day-to-day where needed
  • Attend weekly KPI catch ups to ensure weekly, monthly and annual objectives are being met
  • Deliver upon the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations
  • Support the Marketing Assistant on the planning and organisation of exhibitions whilst driving customer engagement at exhibitions and congresses through creative, fun and innovative activities that differentiate us from the competition
  • Working collaboratively with other marketing team members the sales manager to ensure the pre, at event and post event messaging are targeted and aligned to event themes, products, promotions and materials.
  • Utilise IMV imaging Academy content and clinical communications, working closely with IMV imaging clinical team, videographer, Sales Manager, General Managers and Commercial Director to deliver high quality, relevant, value add materials
  • Ensure the website is maintained and developed projecting IMV imaging to the Companion Animal global markets. Use this information to communicate product information to sales teams and customers. Working closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to achieve this
  • Working with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist and our external agency to complete on Phase 2 of the website delivery project
  • Ensure branding and messaging stays consistent throughout initiatives and activities
  • Ensure that quality standards, measurements and effective controls are sustained
  • Support each of the marketing team within their roles and development plans
  • Hold monthly 121 meetings with direct reports to keep on top of projects
  • Take an active role in the marketing activities where the team has gaps.
  • Liaise with the sales managers for UK and Ireland to continue quarterly product focused campaigns
  • Support the CSR strategy and regularly attend meetings.
  • Continue to grow our PR initiative and reinvigorate our presence in the Scottish market
  • Continue to grow our online educational platform with support from the clinical team and in line with the plan to meet key objectives

As part of the role, we would expect regular travel both within the UK and Ireland. In addition, weekend work would be required from time to time to support exhibitions.


  • Degree qualified with five years plus experience including professional qualifications in marketing

  • An understanding and applicable use of HubSpot would be beneficial
  • WordPress CMS experience
  • Working knowledge of sales cycles
