Service Centre Technician

Location: full time/permanent – based in Southend on Sea

Job purpose/ key responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Service Centre Technician to join our Service Centre team at Vesco. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will always go the extra mile for our customers.

Daily Responsibilities

• Completion of endoscope servicing and repairs in line with customer requirements
• Completing tasks associated with the daily operation of the workshop
• Product assembly, refurbishment, disassembly, repair and testing
• Quality inspection checks
• Management of loan equipment pool
• Administrative duties relating to the repair process
• Using computer based service management to record servicing and repairs
• Use of tooling and test equipment
• Measurement of quality by means of visual inspection and function checks
• Providing additional support when necessary

Education/ experience

• Previous experience in endoscopy servicing and repairs is preferable
• Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft office suite
• Previous electrical experience is desirable but not essential
