He teaches undergraduate, graduate, and veterinary classes in reproduction and swine management. His research program focuses on improving male and female fertility. Dr Flowers has published over 170 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and more than 450 popular press \/ extension articles dealing with swine reproductive physiology and artificial insemination. In addition, he has given 188 invited presentations and has served on or is currently a member of 58 editorial boards, study sections and review panels. He has received several national and international awards for his teaching and research programs including the Food and Agricultural Sciences Excellence in College and University Teaching Awards sponsored by the USDA (2005); being named a Hog Industry Master by National Hog Farmer Magazine (2011); and the American Society of Animal Science\u2019s Distinguished Teacher Award (2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Co-host and Discussion panel: Emmanuel Ch\u00e2teau<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emmanuel has focused the last 2 decades in ultrasonography equipments. In 2001, he was part of the team that developed the first light-weight ultrasound equipment. He has worked with swine producers around the globe in fine tuning pregnancy check, backfat and muscle mass evaluations. He holds a bachelor and masters degree in international trade from Creteil University in Paris, France. He has collaborated closely with INRA and the French Pork Institute to approve and introduce new ultrasonography applications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Watch the recorded webinar below.
