He is a Diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine and of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and held a personal chair at the University of Liverpool until his \u201cretirement\u201d in 2010. He was then a consultant professor at the University of Glasgow and currently runs Equine Medical Solutions. He has published a plethora of journal articles and something crazy like 12 textbooks.
