Graduate Business Administrator – Careers


Formally known as BCF Technology and ECM (Echo Control Medical), IMV imaging is the dedicated veterinary imaging department of IMV Technologies. We are world leaders in veterinary imaging including ultrasound, X-ray, digital image management (PACS), CT and MRI. LOCATION: Head Office, Bellshill, Scotland

Key Accountabilities

  • Variable administration role across a number of departments including Customer Care, Marketing, Service, Product Management, Finance
  • The role will be project focused with tangible outcomes expected as well as an operational support role in each Department during a defined project scope. For example: you may be given a 2-month project to improve the key-performance- matrix reporting for our Customer Care Dept, but during the time in that department also be responsible for a day-to-day operational task, e.g., answering & routing phone calls. Or in the service department you may be asked to map some processes and find efficiency gains in the process – with a day to day role of supporting Service Contract renewals
  • You will remain flexible and we willing to work on all aspects of the operations of our business and aim to challenge process and bring your flair and creative skills to the work that you do. You will get given clear direction on all projects, fully supported with clear objectives and outcomes.
  • Our business is varied and as such you need to be open to learning many different things and through your Graduate scheme will learn where your energy and passions naturally fall and where you are adding greatest value. At the end of the two year graduate scheme, we would then aim to position you in a full-time role to most closely meets your natural passions and areas of personal development.
  • You will spend time working with all tiers of leaders and managers in the business and learn through these interactions business interpersonal skills.
  • We are a very customer orientated organisation and as such you are also likely to spend time out in the UK & Ireland with our sales and commercial teams learning and understanding more about our customers needs for our equipment and services.


  • Degree qualified, preferably in Business, Marketing or similar background
  • Previous business administration experience would be advantageous
  • A keen desire to learn all things Business – curiosity!
  • Fluency in another language desirable but not essential
