Alexandra Grey
Clinical Manager
My role primarily involves providing imaging education and support to veterinary staff across the UK, in the form of hands-on practical teaching and involvement in theoretical learning content creation. I’m passionate about the diagnostic utility of imaging so I am really looking forward to helping veterinary professionals to gain confidence in their imaging skills and knowledge and I’m also excited about the resulting wider impact this will have on the pets of the UK and their caregivers. Another part of my role is collaborating with the other teams in the company, so that we can ensure we are offering the highest possible quality imaging equipment and services to our clients.
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2018. I then spent 5 years working as a small animal primary care vet in Suffolk, before moving into specialist referral practice, where I completed a rotating internship in Wiltshire, followed by a cardiology internship in Hampshire. I then worked briefly as a cardiology clinician before joining IMV Imaging. Alongside my primary care role, I also spent time working for the University of Cambridge, teaching anatomy and physiology to first year veterinary students.
Outside of work I spend a lot of time walking or being outdoors in nature and having grown up on the southeast coast, my preference is to be close to the sea or another body of water. I also love reading, baking, mindfulness practice and spending time with my cats, of which I have three – a (not naughty) tortie called Pixie and two tabbies called Quill and Wren.
